Hi, I'm Kathy

I'm a certified wellness coach through Emory University.  I love helping people create small wins in their life. I believe all small wins add up.

​

I was introduced to coaching for the first time in 2021 for my own stress management and relationship management.  It was my big aha moment. I benefitted so much from the experience, I decided to become certified. I've struggled with managing my weight from time to time. I was able to slide my wedding ring on my finger again starting in 2022.  A small win that meant a lot to me. I learned to experiment with wellness activities.  I found the things that I enjoy doing, and not hate doing. 

 

I've worked in healthcare digital product development for over 15 years.  I enjoy the collaboration it takes to bring user-friendly online experiences to life.

I'm a wife, a daughter, a sister, a friend, and a cat mom. In my free time, I love being outside and staying active. This ranges from hiking, kayaking, yoga, or golfing.

Coaching Overview

I help clients explore their personal vision.  We dig into the areas that matter most to you.

Popular wellness focus areas:​

  • Managing weight

  • Eating healthier

  • Managing a chronic condition like blood pressure, high cholesterol or diabetes

  • Stress management

  • Managing challenging relationships

  • Managing chronic pain

  • Improving sleep quality

Note:  I am not a clinician or a therapist.  I will never replace the care you are receiving from your clinical care team. 

I meet you where you are at in your life today. We build a manageable plan together for helping you move forward.  

Those co-created plans will always be backed with an evidence-based scientific behavior change framework to create positive habits.

 

Live One-on-One Coaching Sessions:

  • Each live session is via Zoom conferencing or telephone.

  • Sessions will last between 20-25 minutes and will occur every few weeks.

  • These sessions will include visioning, goal-setting, and small, actionable steps to move forward.  Check-ins occur to help you build a new habit and adapt to the new insights you are gathering about yourself.

  • I will be your accountability partner.
